Use these questions to prepare a discussion with the responsible club administrator and your agent. Resort branding alone does not establish which program governs the interest.
Does a resale include HGV Max?
Do not assume that it does. HGV’s published Max information describes resale eligibility limits and a qualifying new-purchase condition. Ask HGV for the current written position on the exact ownerships involved.
What should I confirm before an offer?
- The legal ownership/product and current available usage.
- Applicable booking and exchange rights.
- Resale restrictions and any existing membership interaction.
- Current recurring costs and itemized transfer/closing charges.
When will the ownership be usable?
Closing and program account recognition can be separate stages. Ask who follows up and confirm usable points/weeks before making nonrefundable travel plans.
